Justice Craig Stoddart, Place 5
In September of 2014, Craig left the district attorney's office to accept an appointment from Governor Rick Perry to serve as Justice of the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas. In November 2014, he won election to the Court where he serves the citizens of Collin, Dallas, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman and Rockwall counties. The Fifth District Court of Appeals is the busiest of the 14 intermediate appellate courts in the State of Texas, handling in excess of 1500 cases each year. Since arriving at the court, Craig has authored over 300 judicial opinions and participated on the panels of nearly 1000 appellate cases.
Justice Jason Boatright, Place 9
Justice Boatright was appointed to the court of appeals by Governor Greg Abbott, who was a Texas Supreme Court Justice and the Texas Attorney General. Governor Abbott knows that Justice Boatright is a great conservative Texas appeals court justice who bases his rulings only on the meaning of the words in applicable law. Justice Boatright is a constitutional conservative. Every day, he works to preserve, protect, and defend the constitution and laws of Texas and the United States. He treats everyone in court equally, fairly, and respectfully.

This vast experience covers a broad range of areas, encompassing wrongful death; product liability; commercial litigation; all types of intellectual property disputes; employment matters; defamation; consumer protection/DTPA cases; professional liability; health care; class action litigation; and cyber liability.
Justice Elizabeth Lang Miers, Place 13
Elizabeth Lang Miers has served as a Justice on the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas since 2003. She began her legal career as law clerk to the Honorable James A. Finch, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Missouri. She previously practiced for 28 years with and was a partner in the predecessor firms to Locke Lord, LLP. She has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1977 and a member of the Missouri Bar Association since 1975. She currently serves as Chair of the Multi District Litigation Panel for the State of Texas.
