Traffick911 is a Texas-based non-profit organization who exists to free American youth from sex trafficking through prevention, identification and empowerment.

"America’s Hidden Slavery: Child Sex Trafficking"

Presentation Description:

Lindsey's passion is helping hurting people. She has been involved in the fight against human trafficking with Traffick911 since 2010 and is considered a subject-matter expert in the area of sex trafficking. She currently serves as Chief Programs Officer for Traffick911, overseeing all prevention, identification and empowerment initiatives for the agency, full-time program staff, and over 800 vetted and trained volunteers.

Lindsey trains and speaks on the issue across the state and works closely with victims and their families. She has trained more than 5,000 first responders and professionals in the last five years, including multiple law enforcement agencies, National Social Work Association, several Independent School Districts, hospitals and hospital associations, Texas Juvenile Justice Department, and Texas Department of Family Protective Services.

Lindsey serves on the Child Sex Trafficking Multi-Disciplinary Teams in Dallas and Tarrant Counties, in accordance with the Office of the Governor in Texas, in order to bring about a more coordinated response to child sex trafficking. She is on the executive committee of the North Texas Coalition Against Human Trafficking, is a member of the Crime Victims Council of Dallas County and the Texas Victims Services Association. Lindsey holds a bachelors from Texas A&M University, is TBRI-trained, is a certified to assist victims of crime through the Texas Victim Assistance Training Academy and is working to become a Certified Praesidium Guardian.

In her free time, she loves finding hole-in-the-wall local coffee shops, playing the piano and gardening.
