Teresa Beckmeyer is from Colorado City and is a business owner, wife and home school mom. She has been politically active for the past 20 years upon return to Texas after her husband worked for the USDA in Washington DC. She has been involved in various national, state and local campaigns, has served on the rules and credentials committee at the state Texas Republican Convention for four of the past five conventions, is currently serving as the Mitchell County Republican Chair and is the Hill Country Reg. Dir. for the Texas Republican County Chairman's Association.
As the State Executive Director of Lone Star Voice, she spends time in Austin observing the Texas legislature while it is in session. Lone Star Voice is a nonprofit that is dedicated to educating the citizens of Texas on state government and legislation through educational presentations and events.
